Phoenix Hair and Co is a small, by-appointment lash and brow studio in Wellington, run by Amber. I started it in 2021 after three years lashing in busy multi-chair salons — I wanted a quieter, more personal setup where the experience matched the result. I trained in classic, hybrid, and volume techniques in Auckland, and I keep up with continuing education every year. I use a sensitive-line adhesive on request, keep my studio pet-free and fragrance-free, and sterilise all tools between clients. I work with Keune products for tints and brow shaping. Most of my work is repeat clients every 2-3 weeks. The rest is weddings, first-timers, and the occasional special occasion. I keep notes on each client's set, preferences, and any sensitivities so every visit picks up where the last one left off.

I won't upsell you into a fuller set than you came in for. I won't book you in for fill after fill without checking the health of your natural lashes. I won't promise 6 weeks of wear from a 2-hour appointment that I know will need a fill at 3 weeks. If something isn't right with your set after you leave — a stray extension, any irritation, anything — message me. I'd rather you flag it than quietly be unhappy.
